4 Banger, on to the show

Strom Drain 12x16

Here are a bunch more oil paintings for the show. I wanted to go out with a bang as I'll be gone for a week. Going up to SF after The SLO show to hit the museums and some galleries and take photo's then over to Stockton to see the

J. C. Leyendecker show. I'll try and look in, but don't have a lap top.

I especially like that tree by the road. It has a nice finish to it.

I can't wait to see that Leyendecker show.

William - nice you can paint and take care of business on the internet;-) Like all the paintings and especially the rubber raft one. Not a problem to invent a story behind the missing raft people.... You are the kolor king! enjoy your trip!

Have a good time!
Wish I could go, if I wasn't so busy being a wage slave.

All these paintings are great! I especially love the colors in the first one. The sky looks beautiful, and all the other shapes frame it perfectly. Good job!

I subscribe to your philosophy of discards, ruination, and decay being engaging subject matter. I appreciate your having visited my blog- I'm just getting the hang of the "comment" program. This comment is flung into the atmosphere from from the Comox Valley, Vancouver Island, Canada, with hopes it will land on target.

If you have time, be sure to check out the Claude Lorraine show at The Legion of Honor when youre up in SF. Its probably a little repetitive for some, but anyone who enjoys outdoor painting and sketching (perhaps like yourself) will probably enjoy the show. Tuesdays are the least expensive day to go-
You can really Imagine Lorraine sitting on the side of a road somewhere in the old Italian countryside drawing away. Great stuff- Have a safe trip!
